WhatsApp’s New Camera Feature revealed

The own feature will appear as an editing tool, while trying to share a photo or video. This feature is also available for files already saved in the device as well.  This feature is similar to the option available in Snapchat, which is there for a long time. Facebook recently added a new feature called Messenger Day, which tries to clone Snapchat’s Stories feature. Back in August, Instagram also added Stories feature, by cloning Snapchat’s Stories feature.

Now there is a support for front–facing flash, while taking selfies using WhatsApp’s inbuilt camera app. Users can zoom in and out while recording a video just by sliding up and down in the screen. Users can switch between front and rear facing cameras while recording video by just double tapping on the screen.

“Today we’re introducing new ways to customize and enhance the photos and videos you share with friends and family around the world. Whether you’re drawing a big red heart to show how much you miss someone or adding your favorite emoji – sometimes a picture really is worth a thousand words. Try adding text too, and change the color and font style,” WhatsApp said in a blog post.
