Mi India will launch the Redmi 3S in India tomorrow. The company launched Redmi 3S in china in June. India will be the first overseas market to get the handset after its home country.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa Core processor and Adreno 505 GPU. This handset has a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1280×720. Comes with 2GB Ram+16GB ROM or 3GB RAM+32 Gb ROM options with support for Micro SD card up to 128 GB. There is a 13 MP Auto Focus camera on the rear with Led flash and 5 MP camera on the front. This dual sim handset does support 4G LTE, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, IR blaster and Finger Print sensor. Xiaomi Redmi 3S has a 4100 mAh battery, dimensions are 139.3×69.6×8.5mm, and weighs 144 grams. This handset will be ruining MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
It is expected that Xiaomi will keep their aggressive pricing strategy to hot Indian markets with the Redmi 3S. There is no information about the pricing of this handset in India. Though the price is expected to start from below Rs.9000. The Chinese variant with 2 GB RAM/16GB ROM costs US$108, which is RS.7200 and the 3GB/32 GB version costs US$138 which is equal to Rs.9200. The handset was available in Grey, Silver and Gold color option in China.
The launch of Redmi 3S may affect the sales of Redmi Note 3 in India, which has sold over 60,0000 units in India as of May 2016. Xiaomi Redmi 3S will compete with the new Lenovo K5 Plus, Moto G4 series, Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro and Galaxy J5 2016 version.
Last week Xiaomi launched the Redmi Pro in China with Dual-camera setup. The deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 powered Redmi Pro has 5.5 inch Full HD display. Redmi Pro is also available in 3GB or 4GB RAM variants with 32GB or 64 GB ROM which will support to expand up to 128 GB using a Micro SD card.
