The EXIF data reveals it was shot with f/2.0 aperture, ISO 100, and 1/750s shutter speed. The camera name field was listed as Mi 5S, so the name is almost confirmed. The official camera samples always look good, and we will have to wait to get a device to find out how good it is.
Xiaomi shared more images taken using this smartphone in the MIUI forum.
The Mi 5S is expected to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with multiple RAM / internal memory options. The device will have the Snapdragon Sense ID technology on the Mi 5s. This technology will allow the manufacturer to place fingerprint scanners almost anywhere on the device. It will also work with different materials, thanks to the 3D ultrasonic technology. We are expecting a 3490mAh battery, with support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
Some presentation slides were leaked recently, and they suggest the device’s price. The price of Xiaomi Mi 5S will start from CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs.20000). It will have Snapdragon 821 chipset, 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It might come with a 5.15-inch full HD display, similar to the original Mi5.
The higher end model, Mi 5S Plus will be priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs.30000). This smartphone will also have the Snapdragon 821 chipset, with a larger 5.7-inch QHD display, 6GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Xiaomi also reveal a smaller smartphone with almost the same specs, may be a 4.3-inch variant with 720p resolution. The company has scheduled an even on September 27 at China National Convention Center in Beijing.
