Xiaomi again teased their upcoming Mi 5s smartphone. The first teaser came with a big ‘s’ in spotlight, and the event will be held on September 27. The new teaser reveals the AnTuTu benchmark score, which is a might impressive score of 164,119.
Xiaomi Mi 5s new teaser with AnTuTu Score
The teaser was posted soon after a leaked AnTuTu benchmark score of 164,002 for the Xiaomi Mi 5s hit the Web. The official Mi 5s score was released by the company soo after the launch of LeEco Le Pro 3 on Wednesday. LeEco’s the Le Pro 3 hit a score of 163,544 in AnTuTu, which makes Xiaomi’s Mi 5s the winner. The real winner in market will also be influenced by the price of the device. Le Pro 3’s price starts at CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,100).
The previous leaks suggest the company will launch the Mi 5s with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. It might also be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor with Adreno 530 GPU paired with 6GB of RAM. There is a good chance the device will have 256GB storage and it might run on Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8 on top.
Mi 5s will come with a 3490mAh battery, with support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The device will have the Snapdragon Sense ID technology on the Mi 5s. This technology will allow the manufacturer to place fingerprint scanners almost anywhere on the device. It will also work with different materials, thanks to the 3D ultrasonic technology.
The new rumor is that the company will also reveal a smaller 4.3-inch variant of the Xiaomi Mi 5s. An image of a smaller device was spotted in Weibo, and the specification is it will have a 4.3-inch display, possibly with 720p resolution. Unlike the 5.5-inch version, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
We will have to wait for the company to reveal all their secrets on September 27th event. Xiaomi might launch these two smartphone for almost sure, and we can also expect more devices.
