Specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi Max 2 has been leaked on GFXBench. Both smartphones were leaked online several times before, but the Mi 6’s details are a bit different.
Xiaomi Mi 6
GFXBench listing reveals that the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat, with the custom MIUI ROM. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. This smartphone has a 5.1-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixel) display. It is tipped to come with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is tipped to sport a 12MP rear camera with support for 4K video recording and an 8MP front camera also capable of 4K video recording.
Previous leaks suggest that the Mi 6 might come with a QHD 2K OLED display with dual curved edges, 256GB of inbuilt storage, dual rear camera setup, and a 4000mAh battery. It was also reported that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be launched in 4GB of RAM + 32GB storage priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,000), 4GB + 64GB priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 21,800), and 6GB + 128GB priced at CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 25,600). It was also reported that there will be a bigger Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, with 4GB of RAM + 64GB storage priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 24,700), 6GB + 128GB priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 28,500), and 8GB + 256GB priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 33,200).
Xiaomi Mi Max 2
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was also spotted on GFXBench codenamed Xiaomi Oxygen. But the 6.4-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) panel suggests it will be the Mi Max 2 variant. The listing also shows that the Mi Max 2 has 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, 12-megapiel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and NFC support. Previous leaks suggest that this smartphone will come with the yet-to-be unveiled Snapdragon 660 processor, and packs a 5000mAh battery. We can expect the Mi Max to be launched in May.
