Xiaomi is expected to launch the Mi 6 smartphone in the first half of 2017. The new leaks of Xiaomi Mi 6 gives us an idea about its specifications and price.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Specifications
According to a Chinese report, there will be two variants of the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone, one with a flat screen and another with a dual-curved screen. The Mi 6 with dual-curved will be called as the Mi 6 Pro and it will also come with more RAM than the flat screen model. The Mi 6 is expected to launch with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Mi 6 Pro will come with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It might also pack a physical home button, with a built-in fingerprint sensor. This smartphone will also come with dual-camera setup on the rear.
The Mi 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 technology to charge a large 4000mAh battery.
The Mi 6 will be priced at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 20,000) and the dual-curved display variant will be priced at CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs. 25,000). If the reports are true, the company has begun mass production of the Mi 6 smartphone. Xiaomi will be using LCD panel for the flat screen model and OLED panel for the dual-curved screen variant.
