Xiaomi yesterday revealed a teaser for an even scheduled on September 27, and we expect it will be the launch event of Xiaomi Mi 5s. There is no news about the release date of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro, but we have a new leak to talk about.
The previous leaks were suggesting the device will come with 6GB of RAM and a dual-edge screen. And some other leaks suggested the device will be called as ‘Note 2 Pro’ instead of ‘Note 2’. A screenshot posted in Weibo shows the “About Phone” page, and it shows the name ‘Mi Note 2 Pro’. The image also shows the device will have 8GB of RAM and it will be powered by a quad-core 2.6GHz CPU. The Android version shows in this screen shot is Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8 on top. The mentioned quad-core chipset might be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821.
Note 2 is also rumored to come in 64GB and 128GB storage options. It will have USB Type-C port, 3600mAh battery, two speaker grills and this time finger print sensor will be on the front.
There is less chance for the company to reveal the Mi Note 2 Pro first before the Mi Note 2. May be they will launch the Mi Note 2 first and reveal the pro version later, just like the Mi Note Pro.
