It is expected that Xiaomi Mi6 will be revealed at the MWC 2017, next month and the shipping will start from April. Latest leaks about the Xiaomi Mi 6 suggests it will come in three variants. The cheapest will be MediaTek powered, and the other two will come with Snapdragon’s latest SoC.
Xiaomi Mi6 Variants
GizChina report that Xiaomi Mi6 will be available in three variants and one of them will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 processor and the other two will sport Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. The MediaTek variant will be priced at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 19,800) and the second model with Snapdragon 835 SoC will cost CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs. 24,800). The third model is expected to sport a dual-edge curved display and will be priced at CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs. 29,800).
The Xiaomi Mi6 will run MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. This handset will also come with a large 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support. It will sport a Home Button with built-in fingerprint reader. The smartphone is expected to be made available in Black, White, and Blue colour options.
