Xiaomi has sent invites for an event in New Delhi on January 19. The company might be planning to launch the Redmi Note 4 in India. It is not yet confirmed by the company, as they could launch a different model.

Redmi Note 4 is powered by Deca Core (10 cores) Helio X20 processor (two Cortex A72 at 2.1GHz, four Cortex A53 at 1.8GHz, and four Cortex A53 at 1.4GHz) with Mali T880 GPU. The processor is claimed to improve performance by 62 per cent and reduce power consumption by 30 per cent. There is 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/64GB ROM versions. Note 4 comes with a 5.5 inch 2.5D curved screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and pixel density of 401ppi. There is a 13MP PDAF (phase detection autofocus) f/2.0 aperture camera with LED flash on the rear and a 5MP camera with 85-degree wide angle lens on the front. The rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
Redmi Note 4 will be running latest MIUI 8 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The handset uses Hybrid dual SIM setup, means users can use either Micro SIM + Nano SIM or Micro SIM + Micro SD card. Redmi Note 4 supports MicroSD cards up to 128 GB in capacity. The Other features are 4G VoLTE, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB Type C, IR blaster and finger print sensor. There is a 4100 mAh battery, Note 3 has a 4050 mAh battery. The phone weighs 175 grams with the battery and dimensions are 151x76x8.35mm. The handset will be available in Gold, Grey, and Silver colours.
Redmi Note 4 with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM is priced at RMB 899 (approx. Rs.9000). Redmi Note 4 with 3GB RAM and 64 GB ROM is priced at RMB 1199 (approx. Rs.12000).
