ZTE launched its latest smartphone the Axon 7 mini at IFA 2016. It has been priced at EUR 300 (roughly Rs. 22,400), and will become available starting this month in Europe and Russia. ZTE Axon 7 mini will be available in India too. It will be available in Gold and Grey color variants.
ZTE Axon 7 mini is powered by a Snapdragon 617 SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.2GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz). This smartphone has 5.2 inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. This is the mini version of the ZTE Axon 7 smartphone, which has a 5.5 inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) AMOLED display. ZTE Axon 7 mini is an audio focused smartphone with dual front speakers and dual microphones. It features Dolby Atmos technology with a dedicated audio processor providing 24-bit/192kHz audio, as well as Hi-Fi audio output and recording. The device will be running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
ZTE Axon 7 mini will have an aluminium anybody design and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. There will be 3GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM models. The handset does support MicroSD cards up to 256GB. The rear camera if of 16MP with a f/1.9 aperture and PDAF and dual-LED flash module. There is an 8MP front camera with a f/2.2 aperture.
Other features are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C (v1.0) port. ZTE Axon 7 mini measures 147.5x71x7.8mm, and weighs 153 grams. It is powered by a 2705mAh battery and Sensors on board include an accelerometer, gyroscope, digital compass, and a proximity sensor.
